When I was in college, I discovered Bill Mauldin's military
cartoons published in Stars and Stripes, the U.S. Army
newspaper (and better than most civilian newspapers).
I think my favorite cartoon was of a Cavalry officer,
looking unhappily at his jeep with a broken axle, and
holding his automatic pistol at its hood, ready to put his
faithful steed out of its misery.
I wish someone would draw one featuring a &^%$# [at] *&^ computer
and actually PULL THE TRIGGER!
Yeah . . . I finally figured it out.
GRRRR!
